What is FSC02?
FSC02 is SCDF’s Regulated Fire Safety Products Installation Certificate used for regulated fire safety products installed in a project. It supports Fire Safety Certificate application documentation.
Who needs FSC02 endorsement?
Project teams using regulated fire safety products may need proper installation certification and endorsement by the appointed Appropriate QP, depending on project scope and submission requirements.
Do you install firestop products?
We focus on inspection, verification, certification and documentation support. We can work with your appointed installer or contractor.
Can you help before the final FSC stage?
Yes. Early inspection is recommended before ceilings, shafts, risers and service penetrations are concealed.
Can you guarantee FSC approval?
No. We do not guarantee authority approval. We help ensure firestop inspection records, documentation and certification are properly prepared to support the FSC process.
What documents do you need?
Approved fire safety plans, fire compartmentation plans, penetration details, product data sheets, product listing or certification documents, installation records, site photos and contractor information.
